Your sponsorship of a boy or girl helps to provide holistic care for the parentless children under the protection of Watoto. Your sponsorship contributes to provide a home, food, clothing, education and medical and spiritual care for your Watoto child or pay for school fees of the children from nearby community families to attend a Watoto school.

New born children to two year olds who have been orphaned or abandoned are brought into Baby Watoto, ‘The Bulrushes’ a babies home where they are given care, medical support and a loving environment. Working together, we believe that many of these children will be provided with opportunities to flourish and enjoy belonging to a loving family in one of the Watoto Villages. Your sponsorship for Baby Watoto is not for a specific child, but for all the babies

A Watoto house mother is given a home and a family of eight children to nurture. Your sponsorship of a house mother contributes to provide her home, food, clothing, medical and spiritual care. In addition, your support gives her further training and assistance to develop her skills, to be more effective in raising her Watoto family.

The most marginalised and wounded people in Africa are women. Left abandoned or widowed, many of them HIV+, they are destitute fearing that their children will soon join the ranks of Africa’s countless orphans.As an addition to the ministries within Watoto Church, Living Hope operates alongside Watoto to restore the lives of these women.
