"People assume that if you don’t have a lot, you can’t make a difference. However once you visit Uganda and see the work in progress at Watoto, it’s fulfilling to know that what starts with an individual contribution, like sponsoring a child or helping to build a house, has tremendous impact on the lives of orphaned children,” says Dave Kaufman.

A team of 20 men and women including young people from Ohio, led by Dave Kaufman, recently built a teacher's house for Watoto. Anna Rooney, 15 years old, believes anyone can go to Africa. “It’s been amazing! We don’t want to leave. We really enjoyed everything, including a ladies’ church service, the babies at Baby Watoto and all the children at the Watoto villages,” she said. The team concluded their visit with a Safari at the Murchison Falls National Park.
