WATOTO GRADUATION

November was marked with celebration as we graduated 42 students with High School diplomas and 44 vocational students with certificates in basic skills from five different disciplines

109 students sat for the Primary School examinations and we’re expectant of excellent results.

This year's ceremony was particularly significant as we graduated some of the students, who joined us as former child soldiers from Gulu, northern Uganda in March 2009. It was an incredibly touching moment as they received recognition with their heads held high in hope of a bright future.

We all delight in the achievements of our children. And in October, our hearts were warmed in celebration of one of our Watoto graduates, 24-year-old Elvis Mutalya, as he launched his debut music album in Kampala, Uganda. He is fast becoming one of the country’s outstanding Gospel artists.
