WHIRLWIND WEEK IN THE UK

2 December 2010

Hillsong London's Dominion Theatre was packed to the rafters on Sunday 14th November as the Restore Tour took to the stage in both the morning services. Attending the afternoon service, Pastor Christine Caine was on fire (as usual) preaching up a storm on the importance of a God who is bigger, stronger and greater than any other. Ending the service, with an oldie but a goodie, Pastor Christine led the congregation in “My God is so big, so strong and so mighty there's nothing my God cannot do!"

Tuesday 16th November marked the beginning of our south bound travels with The Royal Alexandria and Albert School in Reigate performances particularly noteworthy. After the production it came to our attention that many of the high school students in attendance were some of the more unruly, difficult and problematic children. After the show, their teachers reported that their hearts had been so softened – they had asked for an opportunity to participate more in their high school chapel activities!

Heading next to Peterborough in the UK, Restore Tour single handedly managed to transform one of the local Muslim owned gymnasiums into a theatre hall and draw a crowd of 500. The biggest concert of its kind, the spirited performance had a powerful impact amongst the Middle Eastern families and Muslim followers in attendance. Raising their hands heaven-ward in worship of the one true God was an awe-inspiring moment.

Be part of the journey – find out when we are going to be in your city. Check out www.restoretour.com for our upcoming tour dates. And send in any life-changing experiences you may have encountered from the tour to restoretour@watoto.com.
