WATOTO MINISTRIES IN SOUTH AFRICA

15 November 2010

2011 is set to be a ground breaking year for Watoto as we expand our operations out of our home country, Uganda and into Cape Town, South Africa. Replicating the model in Cape Town will mean the accelerated rescue of vulnerable women and children like we’ve never seen before on the continent.

Watoto Founder, Gary Skinner comments; “The expansion of God’s kingdom is something we are very excited about and will always actively pursue. It has long been a dream of ours to see the Watoto model replicated across our beloved continent. We also strongly believe that the local church is the hope of the world, and so, true to form, the Watoto model will first be replicated with the launch of a life giving church. Following soon after, we plan to roll out our Children's Village model with schooling system and self sustainability projects. The Living Hope programme restoring dignity to vulnerable women will also follow suit."

The vision and mission of Watoto to 'Rescue; Raise and Rebuild' will always remain the same. And with Cape Town, South Africa due to launch in February next year, you’re going to want to watch this space!
