The Restore Tour Team received some much needed rest and relaxation recently when they visited Disneyland in Anaheim, Southern California. After an incredible two concerts at the Maranatha Chapel in San Diego and then at Oasis Church in Los Angeles – Oasis church then gave the Restore Team a well deserved Disneyland treat. If we had to understate the excitement, we’d say the kids were ecstatic!
It was a thrilling adventure for the team as they raced around the famous theme park soaking up the sunshine, excitement and adrenaline rush guaranteed with any trip to Disneyland! The roller coasters were the teams all time favourite followed closely by train rides, gigantic swings, rabbit trails and the delicious food. Meeting legendary cartoon characters like Minnie and Mickey was a sight to behold as the kids drank in the buzz and got a kick out of seeing some of the favourite caricatures in costumes. One could not contain the energetic million miles an hour chatter on the way home.
An unforgettable experience to remember it was, and all thanks to the generosity and kindness of a big-hearted church towards our team. We are so grateful for the way God has been blessing us as we continue on the journey to bring healing and restoration to the audiences we present to.
