RESTORE TEAM BACK HOME

7 December 2010

Entebbe International Airport (Uganda) arrivals’ lobby was filled with so much joy and jubilation on Friday (3 Dec '10) night as mothers of children and Watoto staff received the Restore Tour team that had been on tour for the last three months.

The team were happy to see their families and friends. Looking back at the three months on the road, members of the group could only but attach joy to their experience; giving reference to seeing how their stories (as presented through the Restore Tour) had touched the lives of individuals and audiences wherever they travelled.

Team leader, Joe Ogwal comments: "The story presented by the Restore Tour is about forgiveness reconciliation and true restoration. Wherever we travelled, people responded to that story by giving their lives to Christ.”

Leonard Mawo, one of the children on the team comments: “When we were doing the production, people would cry because they were so moved. It was amazing. Ugandan people should not take God for granted and they should pray for their country.”

The team will have a time of rest during the Christmas period. They will then present the production in Uganda in January 2011 before setting off for the next leg of the tour in Australia and New Zealand.
