I DREAM OF CHANGING THE WORLD

10 October 2011

Jeremiah Mutyaba, one of the children at Watoto’s Bbira Children’s Village dreams that he will one day be part of the United Nations. Dressed like a UN delegate in Nigerian traditional attire, Jeremiah passionately explained why he would like to be a part of the United Nations.

“My ultimate desire is to impact and add my voice to worldwide assemblies of decision makers who deliberate on crucial issues that affect even the local person in the most remote villages of Africa,” he says.

Jeremiah shared his vision at the recent monthly PowerFM Guntu party, themed 'United Nations'.

Claire Nakyejwe, one of the social workers explained, “These children work very hard, with some preparing for their final national examinations at this time. I have no doubt that many of them will positively influence their communities one day.”

Change someone's story by sponsoring a life today. Support the 11,000 in 2011 campaign.
