22 October 2010

With only a few more days left in the USA, we can hardly believe our time here is almost up! Soon we’ll be jetting off to Canada and then the UK before coming home briefly at Christmas to be with our families.

Over the weekend (October 16-17th) we were active in all the services at Guts Church in Tulsa Oklahoma. Performing the popular Bwola Dance during the first and second services, Senior Pastor Bill Scheer then told his congregation the full Restore Tour was an “absolute must watch” and he enthusiastically encouraged them to attend that evening. Attend they did! The entire congregation, their friends and family came out in force for the 6pm service to see the production in its entirety.

Well and truly getting into the swing of things, Pastor Bill was so excited about the Restore Tour and Watoto children being in his church he got right into speaking Swahili to the audience. He began by welcoming everyone with “Karibuni” and they all thundered in Swahili “Asante”. The drills brought excitement and anticipation to the crowd gathered and continued until the Restore Team took the stage.
Absolutely packing out the church, the refurbished warehouse provided the perfect acoustics and atmosphere for the audience to feel its full impact.

Unbelievable Loss, Unrelenting Hope have been and will continue to be our key words for this tour. The USA leg of the tour has by far exceeded our expectations for bringing restoration and healing to the people we minister to. We can’t wait to share our story with you!

Follow the Sound! Come be part of the journey – find out when we are going to be in your city. Check out www.restoretour.com for our upcoming tour dates.
