We are excited about launching Baby Watoto in Cape Town, South Africa. The team on the ground is working hard to see our first home for orphaned and destitute babies in Southern Africa become operational in January 2012.
Abandonment of babies is increasingly becoming a common phenomenon in South Africa, particularly in the Western Cape. The rise in teenage pregnancy is one of the key reasons for this.
In response to the call, many people have signed up to sponsor Baby Watoto Cape Town.
