Joy is defined by the Merriam–Webster Dictionary as being “the emotion evoked by well-being, success, a state of happiness or bliss, a source or cause of delight”. And 'Joy' is the word that seems to come up more often when people see the Watoto’s Restore Tour: Child Soldier No More team and watch the live events.

Joy in the hearts of the audiences as they realise the incredible hand of God amongst such devastating conditions. Joy in the hearts of the Watoto children, singing their story night after night for Jesus. Joy in the host homes as families get to meet the children they have seen on stage and spend a precious few days with them. But most importantly, Joy in God’s heart when He welcomes one more soul into the Kingdom of Heaven as hearts commit themselves to Him for the very first time.
Watoto's Restore Tour: Child Soldier No More is all about bringing a little slice of heaven to earth, showing how God can bring joy amidst unimaginable loss. Hope amongst unbelievable tragedy. The team's last few days have taken them to Cambridge in the middle of New Zealand’s North Island and back to Botany and Greenlane in Auckland.
Today (Friday 18th March), they headed Hamilton and the team is thoroughly enjoying travelling the country and experiencing the landscape that boasts having six times as many sheep as they do people. Days are simply whizzing by as the 11-day countdown begins until the team touches down in Kampala, Uganda at the end of March. After six months on a global tour, there are a lot of words that explain the effect Watoto's Restore Tour: Child Soldier No More is having on people. And 'Joy' does a good job in describing it.
